Body mass index (BMI) uses measurements of a person's height and weight to give an indication of a person's healthy weight range. Though BMI does not actually calculate the percentage of body fat, it is one of the most widely used tools to diagnose weight problems.

BMI is calculated by dividing the person's weight (in kg) by their height (in meters) squared.

To use the calculator, enter your height and weight, select the appropriate units and click Calculate
